The team here at Wow Internet will be now managing the Kababish online presence and working together to give a fresh look to the marketing material so we hope you like it! Charitable Kababish

Kababish would like to thank everyone who supported them in their charity efforts, it’s been fantastic and are so grateful. The total money raised was over £1100 (which has been awarded government match-funding) through asking guests to donate £1 of their final bill over the Christmas period. The donations were collected in conjunction with StreetSmart for St Basils, who work with the young homeless in the West Midlands.

New Years Eve

Thanks to everyone who turned up on New Year’s Eve, it was was a great party with the vocalist entertainers who put on a great performance and had everyone rocking! Kababish has received many fantastic comments about the night and it was suggested by some of the regular participators to be one of the best nights they have run.

Sunday Banquet Dinner

If you not tried this yet then you are without doubt missing a great day of enjoying the exceptional chef’s favourite dishes. Not only this but they are offering it all at a great value price of £5.00 for kids who are under 12, and you can grab as much food as you like!

February see’s the launch of the brand new Kababish website which has been redesigned with a vibrant new look in collaboration with website developers WOW Internet.  We are delighted with the result bringing you significant layout updates, increased functionality all aiming to improve your customer experience which we will continue to improve over the coming months as more content and features are added.

Mother’s day – 3^rd April 2011
Whilst we may not always see eye-to eye with mum, there is an important calendar date to be noted – SUNDAY 3^rd April, Mum’s generally can get more than a little agitated should their special date be forgotten. Fun Run monies paid to charity
When it comes to being benevolent and giving to charity, we are pleased to announce that we have donated over 35k to various local charities and organisations over the last few years.  With 2011 being no exception, last week we were proud to present Age UK (New Oscott), Birmingham Crisis and Deaf World with their share of the £5627.00 raised by the 2010 Great Midlands Fun Run team.  We would like to say thank-you to everyone for all your support in helping us to achieve this and in particular our corporate sponsors.

Great Midlands Fun Run

We have started to gather details of our budding enthusiastic fundraisers for the 8.5mile trek around Sutton Park and will shortly be finalising all participants that will be raising a lot of money for some worthwhile charities. If you are still considering taking part for TEAM KABABISH, please forward your names to info@kababish.co.uk, whereby we will register you on our behalf. All we will as is that you attempt to raise at least £50.00 pound towards the total and we will be doing a lot badgering through the restaurants.

Charities

We have nominated 3 small local charities this year – Birmingham Crisis, Deaf World, Age Concern…..We have chosen because we all will get old one day and hope someone will be there to give us some support, one is a brand new charity that needs funds to set up providing support for deaf people in a deprived area, and one helps people anonymously, who are or have been abused.

Corporate and Online Sponsors

We are looking for corporate sponsors who are willing to support this good cause, for t-shirts, promotion literature etc, and in return we will acknowledge your support by advertising thorough all our literature, logos on t-shirts, logos on website.

Hopefully the predicted Indian summer will provide us a little solace then the no show of the so called BBQ summer……However, on the positive side for us, it brought in a lot more customers through the doors of our restaurants and lifted their spirits by enjoying fine cuisine in pleasant surroundings. This was further complemented by the great ‘It’s a Sizzling Summer’ offers that many guests took advantage of for otherwise traditionally a calm period in the restaurant calendar.

Great Midlands Fun Run

Though it’s no way near as what we raised the previous year, we can proudly announce that we have raised in the region of £4000, which was accomplished by the support of our generous customers who sponsored our team of runners in the Great Midlands Fun Run.

This was achieved without any corporate money or any other fundraising event, which were some of the methods for the amount raised the previous year… This money will be shared by our 2 nominated charities, Barnardo’s and The Norman Laud Association (Links to charities) 

Competition Winners

Mr & Mrs Westbrooke were the winners of our free meal for 4 competition. Mr John Cattal received £50 for being the winner of the sponsor draw, where by he got 5 times the amount, when he sponsored our Team Kababish in the fun run.
